New look for Visual Texture

Visual Texture has a new look! The facelift employs a WordPress theme called Modern-Clix. I subscribe to a “less is more” attitude when it comes to design, and after using a basic WordPress template to get the blog off the ground it was time to make a change, switch themes, get nerdy, and fool with some code. The result is a cleaner, simpler layout that uses the Golden Rectangle principle, an aesthetically pleasing proportion favored by designers.

What I like: The simplicity of the theme lets the typography sing.  The horizontal lines are quiet yet effective. It is spare but has a solid structure.  It is VT’s new home.
